A 50% deposit is required to hold your dates. Once you confirm your dates with Joe and Chrissy, you will receive an online invoice to provide your secure payment online. (The deposit is non-refundable, but if necessary can be applied to another booking with Joe's Boats. The re-booking must be reserved within six months following your original stay.)
The 50% balance is due one week before you check in. Again, you will be sent an invoice to make this payment online.
Planning your Arrival.
Check in is between 3pm and 7pm, and check out is 11am. Please respect the check in times so that our staff is able to meet you promptly when you arrive!
The best GPS address for parking is 2736 Lighthouse East, Baltimore MD 21224. When you enter this drive, you'll see a 7-11 and Lighthouse Liquors. This is where your Greeter will meet you. You can park ONE car for free for your entire visit in the marina parking lot. Additional parking may be purchased through the same paid parking lot as you enter and leave. Please note there is restricted and very limited street parking within surrounding Canton.
Getting to the Boat.
From the parking lot we'll give you the keycard to get you through the gate to park. We'll then assist you to the marina and your houseboat with the proper keys and access cards. Please note that it's about a 5-10 minute walk from the marina entrance to the houseboats. Hand carts and golf carts may be available (depending on the season and weather) to assist you if necessary, but as they are not associated with Joe's Boats, but rather the marina, we cannot guarentee their availability.
During your stay on the Aries you will have the necessary keys for the marina, parking lot, and boat to come and go as you please. If you have any maintenance or other questions, you will find all necessary phone numbers posted on the fridge. There will also be a guidebook for how to take care of the houseboat.
Please be sure to review the terms and conditions of staying with Joe's Boats in our Rental Agreement, which is emailed to you about a week or two prior to your stay. In summary, we ask you to respect the boat, the marina, and your neighbors.
When your stay has come to an end, you will have instructions from the Guidebook on where to leave your keys and parking pass. The Guidebook on the boat also walks you through all closing up directions. Please contact a member of Joe's Boats if you have any specific questions, and we certainly hope to have the opportunity to host you again!
